Got a missed call on my work phone from 0207 770 8135 so I rang them back. A guy with a thick accent claimed to be an HMRC tax and fraud investigator, gave some badge number like d¢2320r and said his name was Andrew Lobo. He started going on about court action being taken against me by HMRC. It was all rubbish. Clearly my work number has nothing to do with my personal money matters. I'd say just ignore and block these numbers, don’t bother calling back.

This morning I answered twice when the phone rang, thinking it was someone I was waiting for. But both times, as soon as I said hello, the line just went silent! Such a strange experience.

This number keeps calling me repeatedly and whenever I pick up, the person on the other side just stays silent and then ends the call. It’s pretty annoying.
