I got a call from someone claiming to be from an insurance firm, but they wanted all my details over the phone. No legit insurance company asks for personal info like that; they usually send a letter instead. When I asked this caller for more info about who they were, they just lost their temper and ended the call. Seems dodgy to me.

When they asked for my bank details, I ended up giving it to them cause I genuinely thought it was a proper life insurance firm. Later, I got really worried that they might have some of my personal info. After hearing from others that it might be a scam, I rang my bank straight away to sort things out.
