I thought I was on the Teletext site trying to book a holiday, but it all felt a bit off. The flights listed weren’t suitable for me, and the site said I needed to call a certain number for different options. I called it, and after a bit, I realised something was fishy - I almost paid them! I was seriously close to getting scammed. After I hung up, they kept ringing me back no matter how many times I blocked the number. I still don’t know if it was the real Teletext site at all. I can't put into words the stress this caused me. Please don’t judge me for not spotting the scam sooner - they get you right in the middle of the process and that’s exactly how they trap you. Most importantly, avoid calling that number at all costs!
