I had arranged a proper meeting with a Halifax Mortgage Advisor for noon, however, they rang me quite early at 9.30am to discuss some info before the appointment. They left a voicemail with specifics that only Halifax would be aware of. I didn’t pick up or return the call since I’d scheduled the meeting for 12pm as that was the time I was free. If I was up for a chat at 9.30, I would have set it then myself.

Got a voicemail from a woman sounding really nice about some mortgage stuff, asked me to ring her back on a mobile number. I decided to ring my bank first and they said the number was fake and told me they’d never ask me to call a mobile if it was genuine. So, I just blocked it straight away.
