Got a call from a woman who said she was from Bank of Scotland, said there was some problem with my bank account. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with them. Before I could even get a word in to ask what was going on, she hung up on me. Very fishy.

Got a call saying it was from Halifax bank doing some market research about investments adverts. I rang the bank afterwards and they had no idea about it. Ended the call without giving them any info. Proper annoying and feels like harassment.

The caller actually had my name and the firm I work for. Seemed like one of those market surveys. She asked way too many business-related questions though. The woman sounded really uninterested, like she was just fishing for details from what I told her - total nonsense. Still, it was kind of amusing :). Only after talking for about 14 minutes did I figure out who she was. Haha. Quite the experience. The call came through at 7.29 pm.
