Got a call on the weekend from this number with a robotic voice claiming to be from the HMRC tax fraud department. The message warned that if I didn’t press ‘1’, they’d issue an arrest warrant right away. I pressed ‘1’ and was connected to someone with an Indian accent who didn’t have any of my info and started asking for my name and postcode. When I told them I wasn’t comfortable sharing personal details since they called me first, they just hung up straight away.
