This number has called me twice claiming to be from BT, saying there's an issue with my computer. When I said I'd ring them back, they just hung up. Feels like they're trying to scam or steal my computer details.

Got a call from some bloke claiming my computer was infected with a virus. I played along for a bit, just letting him go on with his nonsense, fully knowing it was a scam from the start. After about five minutes of him trying to get me to press certain keys on that so-called 'infected' PC (as if I was daft enough to do that!), I told him I realised what was going on. He then lost it, started swearing at me and even said some terrible things. Proper nasty guy. Seriously, watch out for these scammers - they prey on people who might not be aware and it's not something to take lightly!

I answered with a quick hello but the line went dead. Tried ringing back and it said the number wasn’t recognised.
