They were pretty pushy as well, and when I questioned them they mentioned a postal address in Sheffield. Problem was, they didn't say it clearly enough for me to jot it down properly.

Got a call from a bloke with a South Asian accent saying it was just a friendly heads-up about my computer supposedly downloading rubbish files. I had a gut feeling it was one of those tricky computer scams, so I told him my computer was alright and that I didn’t need any help from his firm, then I just ended the call. Haven’t heard from him again.

This bloke just wouldn’t give up, kept arguing after I said that “Windows” wouldn’t be ringing me out of the blue. He hung up but kept calling every few minutes. After telling him pretty firmly to bugger off, I hung up again, but he didn’t stop ringing. I just ignored the calls even though the phone kept going off. In the end, I had to switch the answerphone on.

Got a call from this number, the guy said it was about my computer. He asked if I was the primary user of it. I told him I don’t own a computer. Then he went on to ask if I had a laptop. I said no, I don’t have one either, and then he just ended the call.

So, I picked up a call from this number at my mum’s place, and they were asking to speak to my brother. When I told them he doesn’t stay there, they just ended the call. Not sure if it’s connected, but mum and dad have had calls coming through for the last two evenings, around 7.30 to 11.30 at night, with no one talking on the other end. These annoying calls really need to be put to a stop.

Today, I got a call from this number, and they were asking things about my computer. When I asked them why they needed info about my computer, they just hung up on me.

My folks got a call from this number, and the person asked specifically for me. When my parents told him I wasn’t home and asked who was calling, he just said "no problem" and hung up straight away!
