I received a call from a gentleman with a South Asian accent, claiming it was a courtesy call regarding my computer supposedly downloading some sort of rubbish files from the web. To be honest, I had my suspicions that it was a scam aimed at tricking unsuspecting folks. I informed him that my computer was perfectly alright and that I wasn’t interested in whatever services his company was offering. After that, I simply ended the conversation. Surprisingly, they haven’t attempted to reach me again.

I had quite the experience with a tenacious caller today. They were quite insistent, even after I explained that "Windows" doesn’t engage in cold calling. The conversation ended, or so I thought, but they kept ringing me back every few minutes! I eventually had to firmly tell them to leave me alone before hanging up. Despite my best efforts to ignore them, the calls just kept coming. In the end, I decided it was time to switch on the answering machine to put an end to the relentless ringing. It's quite vexing, really!

I received a call from this number and the chap on the other end mentioned he was inquiring about my computer. He wanted to know if I was the primary user of it. I informed him that I don't own a computer. Then, rather oddly, he probed further and asked if I had a laptop. I replied that I didn’t have one either, and just like that, he abruptly ended the call.

I just picked up the phone at my mum's place, and the person on the other end was looking for my brother. When I mentioned that he doesn't reside here, they abruptly disconnected the call. Coincidentally, my parents have been inundated with mysterious calls over the past couple of evenings, between 7:30 and 11:30 PM, where there's nobody responding at all! It's quite unsettling, and I really think these nuisance calls ought to be put to an end.
