Looks like it’s pretty much identical to what was mentioned earlier, but in my case, it’s for a 48-inch television, priced at £1099.98.

Just got another one claiming to be Ebay Customer Support. They sent me what looked like a confirmation for a laptop purchase worth £399. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother getting involved with these lot!

Don't bother calling them or doing what they say. They want you to go online and enter a code so they can get into your computer. They claim it’s for your own security, like to stop issues in the future, but it’s all a trick. It’s definitely a scam! Best to just ignore them completely.

I would imagine that the number in question could very well be a premium rate service. Just like the Kings Head pub in Norwich, which is rather popular, it wouldn’t surprise me if that's the case!

Received an invoice from eBay for a computer priced at £399, which was supposedly to be sent to 42 Magdalen Street, Norwich, Norfolk NG3 1JE. I decided to ring the number on the invoice regarding potential fraud, but when a woman picked up, it didn’t seem to have the eBay vibe, so I promptly hung up.

I received an email displaying this number as a contact, and it bears a striking resemblance to what others have reported. It ostensibly pertains to an invoice for a laptop priced at £399. Considering this was sent to my work email-where I would never dream of making such purchases-it's patently clear this is a scam.
