Managed to block that one after about seven calls, but then they started using a different number to bother me again. Told them I'd be reporting them to the cops. over the past couple weeks, this number has been blowing up my phone constantly. the first call i picked up was from a guy who sounded like he might be asian and claimed to work for a computer repair company. as soon as i told him i work in it security, he cut the call straight away. sick of these annoying calls, i’ve gone ahead and blocked the number on my home phone now.

Somebody rang me, saying they were from the computer support team and said there was an issue with my PC. I asked them to specify which computer they meant, and they suddenly got all jittery and just ended the call. Pretty clear it was a con.

We got multiple missed calls on 17th and 18th May 2016 from 020766464, which showed up as an international number. It seemed a bit suspicious, so I decided not to pick up. They didn’t leave any message on the voicemail either.

I received a call from this number claiming there were issues with my Windows PC. When I mentioned that I don’t actually own one, they then inquired if I had a tablet instead. When I replied that I didn't, they abruptly hung up on me. Sounds like a scam, if you ask me! The caller's voice and accent definitely had a hint of Southeast Asia to it.

Got a call from one of those dodgy computer scam people trying to get me to visit a dodgy website that'd probably load my PC with malware. I couldn't stop laughing at the nonsense and they ended up hanging up pretty quick.

Got a couple of phone calls from people claiming they spotted a problem with my computer. They asked me to report it to some place called PC Market or something similar, but I’ve got no issues with my machine at all. Both callers had strong foreign accents that were quite tricky to understand. Pretty sure it’s a scam. Reported it to Which? to check it out.

I had a right dodgy experience with a scammer claiming there was malware on my computer. He insisted I power up my machine and describe what was on the screen. Well, it was already running, so I said all I could see were my usual desktop icons and - get this - a wallpaper of his missus in a rather compromising situation with some unsavoury characters. I shan't repeat his response, it was rather uncouth, but let's just say he ended the call in a jiffy.

I've received calls from an Asian-sounding individual. Four times within a day, no less! Every time I picked up and mentioned that I didn’t own a computer, they just hung up. Next time they ring, I think I’ll have a bit of fun with it and keep them chatting for as long as I can. Could be quite the laugh!

I received a call from an Asian gentleman requesting my registration number. Curiously, when I inquired about which computer I owned, his response was that it was a Windows machine. The moment he mentioned that, I realised he was being dishonest, as I don’t possess any Windows devices! Without a doubt, this is a scam!

I’ve been getting calls from this number-first on Friday, 13th May at around 3:25 pm, and again today, 14th May, at 10:46 am. I reckon they might have tried to reach me on previous occasions as well.

I received a call from a chap who clearly wasn't local, using an English name like Alan or Peter. It was quite amusing, really, because he should have been introducing himself as Raj or Patel. He claimed to be from Microsoft, offering to fix my computer issues. Quite the cheek, if you ask me!
