Got a call claiming to be from O2, which is odd as I’m with a different network entirely. The person said my SIM would stop working soon and I needed a new one to improve my service, supposedly free of charge. They said DPD would drop the new SIM off the very next day. Felt quite pushy, they kept pressing for my details and sounded pretty short-tempered. After thinking it through, I figured it was probably a SIM swap scam trying to catch me out.

Got a call today from someone pretending to be with EE, saying I needed to update my SIM card. It was such an obvious scam! Can’t believe people still fall for this stuff.
