Got a call from some automated voice saying it was HMRC warning me about a fraud investigation. They said if I didn’t press 1 right away, I’d be arrested! Obviously a total scam.

I received a rather alarming automated call from this number, 020 7656 3442, purporting to be from HMRC. They claimed there was some sort of fraudulent activity linked to my name! The message insisted that if I didn’t press 1 immediately, the police would come to arrest me! Quite the scare tactic, I must say!
