It's baffling how they managed to obtain my mobile number-I never share it with anyone! It’s quite the nuisance, but I've got a cheeky tactic up my sleeve for the next time they ring. I usually just ignore their calls, but I’m tempted to pick up and give them a piece of my mind with my whistle gadget. They won't know what hit them!

My dad got a call from this number. A bloke with a really thick Indian accent asked to confirm my dad’s name, address and mobile. Dad said he was busy and didn’t want to chat anymore. Since we understand the language, we heard the guy basically tell dad to ‘get lost’ in his own language. Proper rude and just plain daft!

I received a call from this number at approximately half nine this morning. I noticed they had rung, so I tried returning the call, but to my dismay, I was informed that the number couldn't be reached. After doing a bit of digging here, I found out it was linked to an outfit called UK Research. I’ve now taken the liberty of blocking them.

I took a look online for this number, and it appears to be linked to something called iPos e-learning helpline-likely a dodgy operation. I also stumbled upon a discussion in a forum related to the Isle of Wight, where they're alleging connections to Tesco Heritage Properties Limited. Seems a bit fishy, if you ask me!

I've been getting quite a few calls on my recently activated number for a certain Mr. Hussain. It's baffling, really-when I answer, they don’t stick around to explain themselves or why they’re trying to reach him. If I attempt to ring them back, it just goes silent. Even after explaining multiple times that he doesn’t reside at this address, the calls keep coming. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

Had yet another call from this number this morning, and I must say, I'm becoming quite fed up with these persistent individuals ringing me up. They keep trying various sales pitches, and it's always the same unmistakable Indian accent-please understand, I'm not trying to be offensive by mentioning that. Just yesterday, I warned one caller that I’d be taking this matter to the authorities, and they promptly hung up. When I queried if they were from Consumer Research UK, they cut the line without a second thought. It’s infuriating, especially since I’m ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, yet these calls keep on coming!

Received another call today from this lot, yet again! I went off on one about data protection regulations, reminding them that we're registered with the Telephone Preference Service. I also made it clear that all of our calls are recorded for situations like this. I’ve got their number and they've identified themselves as ‘UK Surveys’. Should they persist, I’m more than ready to take legal action for harassment. I know my rights, and I'm not afraid to enforce them!

I received a call this evening that left me feeling rather uneasy. The individual on the other end claimed he was conducting a survey and insisted it would be a mere two-minute distraction. I've been receiving multiple calls from this number while I've been at work. Today, however, I happened to be at home and decided to pick up. Blimey! I've never encountered such a discourteous individual over the phone. He asked for someone completely different, and when I explained I wasn't that person, he became quite insistent that I share my name since he believed he had the correct number. I refused to comply. He claimed it was midnight and that I simply had to assist him. I politely declined to participate in his survey, and to wrap up the call, he told me to f... off. Quite the charmer, isn’t he?

This afternoon, I had a rather bothersome call at 5:03 PM from the number in question, asking me to partake in a market survey, which I promptly declined. Just a minute later, my phone rang again, this time from an unknown number. Curious, I answered, only to discover it was the same bloke from before. I quickly ended the call, but to my dismay, the ringing continued for another thirty minutes! My teenage daughter, aged 15, answered one of these incessant calls and was met with some choice language when she informed him that I was unavailable. He rudely demanded to speak to me and then abruptly hung up. I chose to ignore any further calls and have filed a complaint with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). Whether that will put an end to this nuisance remains uncertain, but I’m seriously contemplating investing in an air horn to send a clear message to them should I receive any more of their unwanted calls!

Oh, what a riot! I’ve just had the most unbelievable encounter with one of those pesky survey callers. This chap rang me up, and I ended up winding him up for nearly ten minutes straight! I told him I’d recorded our chat and was going to alert the police. When I insisted he remove my details from his list, he had the audacity to say that would only happen if I participated in the survey. Can you believe it? I kept asserting that he was bullying and blackmailing me, which seemed to flummox him completely. He started babbling about how he could save me money, claiming to know everything about me. I had to inform him that I’m penniless as it is, but apparently, some mysterious third parties could miraculously save me thousands! How ridiculous is that? He just wouldn’t budge on removing my name from their database unless I played along with his nonsense. When I pointed out that he was literally bullying me, I could almost hear the gears in his head grinding - he actually admitted it! I practically leapt at the chance, saying I'd be taking this up with the police and sharing the recording as evidence. At that point, the rude bloke hung up on me like I’d told him he was a Martian or something - how dare he! And to top it off, he claimed he had no clue where I was, thousands of miles away, yet somehow knew all about my life. Funny thing is, I never called him a terrorist; that was all his doing! What a character!

I'm inundated with calls from this lot, and it's mostly them harassing me to participate in surveys. It's maddening-I've had them ring me as many as three times in a single day! Honestly, all I want is for these incessant calls to come to a halt!

I've been receiving calls from these folks conducting surveys, and despite my numerous requests to be taken off their list, they persist in ringing me up. I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, yet this number has persisted in calling me on the 24th of April, 2014. They claimed to represent some kind of UK Research and were eager for me to participate in their survey. After I politely refused on multiple occasions, the chap on the line retorted with some rather crude words, telling me to “go to hell with my opinions.” I found the whole thing rather amusing, and it seems he couldn't handle my laughter because he swiftly ended the call! I'm baffled by who these people are, but I’d certainly recommend avoiding them at all costs.

I received a rather perplexing call from this number yesterday. An individual with a distinctly Indian accent left a rather nonsensical message on my answering machine; it was all jumbled up and in a language I couldn't fathom. It felt like he was just having a laugh at my expense, especially since he kept going on and on, repeating himself incessantly! Normally, I would just hang up if there's a pause when I pick up the phone, but it seems I still got caught this time. I’m with BT’s Telephone Preference Service; it appears that it's lost its effectiveness! These incessant calls really are bothersome, particularly for older folks who might find them quite distressing.

This number has been pestering me with calls twice each day, once around lunchtime and again in the early evening. It’s quite bothersome, I must say. I’ve taken to ignoring the calls entirely.

My husband got a call earlier today from this number. When he mentioned to the chap on the line, who introduced himself as Darren and sounded Indian, that he didn’t have time to chat, the bloke responded with a couple of rather choice words, telling him to f... off. He then ramped it up and said f... you several times. Quite shocking behaviour, really!

I got a call earlier claiming to be conducting a survey-though I only caught snippets of what they were on about! When I mentioned I was too busy to chat, the caller started to implore me to reconsider. I firmly declined, and then they hung up abruptly.

I recently received a call from an individual with a noticeably foreign accent. He seemed rather keen to know my identity and whether I was a resident of the UK. I decided to terminate the conversation abruptly.

Hello there! I just received a rather peculiar phone call from the number listed above. The chap on the other end had a rather strong accent, and to be honest, I couldn’t make out a word he was saying or who he was trying to reach. I simply informed him that no one by that name resides here and promptly ended the conversation before he could delve any deeper. I attempted to ring back, but the line was silent as a grave, which confirmed my suspicions - it felt distinctly dodgy. Here’s hoping they don’t ring me again!

I've been inundated with calls from various 0207 and 0208 numbers lately. Are they somehow connected? It makes me wonder if they're peddling our contact details. Quite impolite, I must say! One of them even dared to ring me past 9 in the evening, and when I questioned their timing, they simply hung up. Unbelievable!

It’s certainly not my first rodeo; registering with the telephone preference service seems utterly pointless. This time, I didn’t even reveal my name. When I inquired about the purpose of the call, the woman on the line abruptly cut the conversation short without any further ado. I’m just attempting to get some work done from home here.

I recently got a call from this number. When I requested to be taken off their list, the person on the other end responded with an incredibly disrespectful remark before abruptly ending the call. Quite unprofessional, to say the least!

I was quite taken aback by the rather impolite and unsettling inquiry I received.

I received a call from this number today, but thankfully they couldn’t connect because I’ve got a fantastic call screening device known as Truecall. This clever little gadget allows me to manage incoming calls without actually engaging in conversation. Although it might seem a bit pricey at around £95 on Amazon, I'd say it’s been an investment that’s truly paid off. You can sync it with the internet, and it keeps a record of all the calls I make and receive, including those that have been blocked. In just the past two months alone, we’ve been hounded by more than 50 nuisance calls! One great feature is the 'Star' list, which lets you whitelist certain numbers. There’s an array of other functions as well. I decided to get it after my wife, who is disabled, unintentionally shared her bank information over the phone. Given her vulnerability to unscrupulous cold callers, this has provided us with much peace of mind.

I received a peculiar call from a chap who wouldn’t stop prying into what I was up to. Naturally, I inquired as to his identity and the reason behind his rather odd questions. He insisted that we were well acquainted, but abruptly hung up as soon as my son picked up the line. Quite the strange encounter, I must say!

My daughter picked up the call, and when she told the caller that we weren't at home, he went on to pry into her age, which school she attends, and other rather inappropriate details. I’m absolutely livid!

Gave the number a ring, but all I got was silence on the other end. Quite odd, if you ask me!

I picked up the call and could distinctly hear laughter in the background, as if it were coming from an office. There was no one on the other end, so I hung up without hesitation. I certainly won’t be answering that number again and have duly noted it for future reference.

I received a call from this lot recently, and when I firmly refused to participate in their survey, I asked them to remove my details from their list. They had the audacity to inform me that if I didn’t take part, I could expect to be pestered repeatedly. Honestly, their attitude was utterly atrocious and quite disrespectful.

They keep ringing, despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service. I've asked them to cease their calls, yet they persist. It's becoming quite irritating!

Like many others, I've received persistent calls that I usually choose to ignore. However, today I decided to pick up. The caller was familiar with my name and proceeded to ask me some questions. I asked them to hold for a moment and kept them on the line for about a minute. When I returned, I informed them that I wasn’t interested and requested that they remove my number from their list. To my surprise, they started hurling offensive insults at me, telling me to do outrageous things with my middle finger. I simply wished him well and said goodnight. Honestly, these kinds of companies need to be dealt with. I can chuckle at it, but it’s alarming how this could genuinely distress someone else.

I keep getting inquiries for someone who doesn't reside here, and when I question them about how they came by the number, they mention BT. The thing is, we're not with BT at all and we’re ex-directory to boot! So, I’m left puzzled - how on earth did they manage to get hold of my number?

I’ve been harangued daily by these callers for the past three days (19th Sept at 09:31, 20th Sept at 14:23, and 21st Sept at 09:17). Like others have mentioned, it’s all about some sort of survey, and the person on the line has a very pronounced South Asian accent. They even have our surname and insist on confirming our identity. It’s absolutely appalling that, despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service, we're still inundated with these annoying calls from a number that appears to be UK-based. Even if the culprits are beyond our reach, surely someone in the UK must have leased or sold them that number - isn’t there a way to tackle this issue?

I keep getting calls from these folks at 9 o'clock sharp every single morning, even on Saturdays! And they buzz me again later in the day. It’s the same story as others have mentioned; they’ve got this heavy foreign accent and are rambling on about some sort of survey. I'm seriously considering giving them a taste of their own medicine with a good blast of my sports whistle down the line. That might just be a tad annoying for them, but honestly, it’s nothing compared to the nuisance of being rudely awakened by their calls!

I’ve been receiving incessant calls, predominantly with an Indian twang, despite having my number registered with the Telephone Preference Service to ward off those pesky marketing and sales pitches. My poor sister-in-law, who is 76, has been inundated with these calls too, and it’s not always possible for me to be there to handle them on her behalf. What’s worse, when I did confront one of the callers, he became quite hostile, boasting that he wasn’t intimidated and would keep calling! I even rang the number back, only to be met with an annoying fax machine sound or something similar. It's imperative for me to find a way to track down these calls to their source or, at the very least, pinpoint the city they’re coming from.

On the morning of Friday, 6th September 2013, my missus got a call from this number around half ten. The bloke on the other end had a heavy Indian accent, making it quite difficult to make sense of what he was saying. He did mention something about Lifescan, which caught our attention since my wife is a Type 1 diabetic and uses their products. It’s worrying to think that if she hadn’t been alert, he might have duped her. He had our name and address too, which is a bit unsettling. She found it hard to follow his speech, but she quickly realised it was a scam and hung up. I’m really getting tired of these dodgy calls!

I’m heavily expecting and this number has been bothering us with calls at unsociable hours. My husband picked up once and they were after Mr...... (my surname before marriage). He informed them there’s no one by that name residing here and requested to be removed from their list. A couple of hours later, they rang us again and my husband didn’t hold back with his response! They retaliated with some unpleasant remarks, then they called once more, and my husband cheekily said, “Hello love!”-only for them to hang up abruptly. Thankfully, we’ve not had any more calls since about twenty minutes ago, so perhaps they weren’t keen on the endearment! We’re registered with TPS, but what further steps can we take? We really need to keep our line open for when the baby decides to arrive!

We've been on the receiving end of calls from this number, as well as a few others, and they keep asking for a Mr or Mrs Woods. We've owned this phone number for more than two years now. Every time we pick up, we explain that it’s a wrong number, as there's no one by that name here. At that moment, they promptly hang up without uttering a word, but they tend to ring us back in just a few hours. We do have caller ID, yet this particular number, 02076543210, simply shows up as "out of area." Honestly, it’s quite frustrating! How on earth can we put a stop to these incessant calls?

It’s high time the government had a word with their Indian counterparts, don’t you think? If those call centres making all those dodgy calls to the UK don’t pack it in, then all that aid money we foolishly send should be cut off without a second thought. It's about time we took a stand.

This outfit is utterly shameful, engaging in what can only be described as harassment, which is frankly unlawful. It’s quite baffling trying to ascertain their true identity or the intent behind their incessant phone calls. They seem to ring non-stop, and when you do manage to speak to someone, you’re met with an incredibly rude and aggressive demeanor. They practically threaten you into compliance; one operator had the audacity to declare, "we’ll simply continue calling you." They appear to be associated with some entity claiming to be the British Lifestyle Survey, but it’s all rather unclear. Their phone number, which you're unable to call back, shows up as 02076543210, although it feels more like a fabricated line. It's evident they're not operating out of London and likely based overseas.

Received a rather unwelcome call from that number earlier today, and having just been nearly duped by a supposed Microsoft Windows representative yesterday, I was rather fed up. I swiftly informed them, rather curtly, that I wasn’t interested and promptly ended the call. Before I even had a chance to settle down, my phone buzzed once more, and upon answering, I was met with a string of profanities-idiot, numpty, and all manner of delightful terms of endearment, really! I couldn’t help but chuckle and shared my feelings on the matter with them. Looks like I should brace myself for more delightful conversations like these in the not-so-distant future!

I received a call from this number very late last night, and I’ve already been interrupted by them twice today. The chap on the other end is quite hard to comprehend. When I finally confronted them, asking them to cease calling me, they just hung up! Yet, the calls keep coming. Is there any way to put an end to this madness?

Rang my mum's number a staggering eight times in just one night! I took it upon myself to impersonate her and informed "Michael" that his incessant calling was nothing short of harassment. I threatened to lodge a complaint, and to my astonishment, he insisted there was no cause for alarm, as he was merely trying to be of assistance!

A few months back, I received calls from this number and, thanks to caller ID, I never bothered to answer. The calls faded out for a time, but lo and behold, this morning, the phone rang again! Unfamiliar with the number, I decided to pick it up. There was a brief silence, and then I heard a foreign woman on the line-so I promptly hung up. I can only assume I’ll be getting a few more of these nuisance calls now! I always avoid answering anything international, 0845, or calls with withheld numbers.

I recently had quite a disconcerting encounter with a market research firm. Despite my repeated requests to have my number taken off their lists, it seems my pleas have fallen on deaf ears. When I probed them about the source of my number, the operator responded rather incredulously that it was obtained from none other than the Taliban, a group not known for their legitimacy. Quite frankly, I was left speechless!

Today, Thursday 8th August, at about 1:50 PM, I received a call from this number. The individual on the other end was rather impolite. I made it clear that I had no interest in participating in their lifestyle survey. He proceeded to ring me four times, wearing my patience thin until I reluctantly shared some details. However, when I requested his name, he abruptly ended the call!

We've been receiving two calls daily from this number, which has become rather frustrating. My husband managed to get in touch with them and requested that our number be removed from their records. However, the chap he spoke to was quite abrasive, even going so far as to ask if my husband believed him to be a slave, threatening to call every single day just to irritate him! Sadly, they've kept calling, and it’s absolutely maddening.

I seem to be receiving calls from this number nearly every single day. I pay my bills for my own personal use, not to have foreign scammers persistently hounding me. Phone companies, can you please take action against this?!

I’ve received calls from this number repeatedly over the past two weeks-ten times to be precise! I’ve made it abundantly clear that they need to remove my details from their database, threatening to report them if they persist. Yet, they just brush me off and continue with their tedious survey questions. I’ve even raised my voice, warning them that I’ll involve the authorities, but it’s as if my words go straight over their heads. What's more, I keep getting subsequent calls, only for the line to go silent on my end. Surely, there's got to be a way to put an end to these nuisances once and for all!
