My dad got a call from this number. A bloke with a really thick Indian accent asked to confirm my dad’s name, address and mobile. Dad said he was busy and didn’t want to chat anymore. Since we understand the language, we heard the guy basically tell dad to ‘get lost’ in his own language. Proper rude and just plain daft!

I dunno who this is, but they keep ringing my phone. When it goes to voicemail, they just let it ring without saying a word, then hang up. Really weird.

I got a call from this number at about 9.30 this morning. When I noticed the missed call, I tried ringing back but it said the number couldn't be reached. I looked it up here and found out it’s from some group named UK Research. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I took a look online for this number, and it appears to be linked to something called iPos e-learning helpline-likely a dodgy operation. I also stumbled upon a discussion in a forum related to the Isle of Wight, where they're alleging connections to Tesco Heritage Properties Limited. Seems a bit fishy, if you ask me!

I received a call from this number at 9:10 AM on 22nd August 2012. It was a rather brief recorded message that I couldn’t quite comprehend, and before I could gather my thoughts, they hung up on me. Quite puzzling, really!

I've been getting quite a few calls on my recently activated number for a certain Mr. Hussain. It's baffling, really-when I answer, they don’t stick around to explain themselves or why they’re trying to reach him. If I attempt to ring them back, it just goes silent. Even after explaining multiple times that he doesn’t reside at this address, the calls keep coming. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!

Similarly, the background was quite chaotic, making it challenging to catch what was being said. They seemed to be discussing mortgages. I ended up leaving the phone on and stepped away for a bit.

Had yet another call from this number this morning, and I must say, I'm becoming quite fed up with these persistent individuals ringing me up. They keep trying various sales pitches, and it's always the same unmistakable Indian accent-please understand, I'm not trying to be offensive by mentioning that. Just yesterday, I warned one caller that I’d be taking this matter to the authorities, and they promptly hung up. When I queried if they were from Consumer Research UK, they cut the line without a second thought. It’s infuriating, especially since I’m ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, yet these calls keep on coming!

This number keeps ringing me non stop. When I ask them how they got my details, they just don’t say. And the moment I tell them to take me off their list, they just cut the call. Quite frustrating!

Oh, what a riot! I’ve just had the most unbelievable encounter with one of those pesky survey callers. This chap rang me up, and I ended up winding him up for nearly ten minutes straight! I told him I’d recorded our chat and was going to alert the police. When I insisted he remove my details from his list, he had the audacity to say that would only happen if I participated in the survey. Can you believe it? I kept asserting that he was bullying and blackmailing me, which seemed to flummox him completely. He started babbling about how he could save me money, claiming to know everything about me. I had to inform him that I’m penniless as it is, but apparently, some mysterious third parties could miraculously save me thousands! How ridiculous is that? He just wouldn’t budge on removing my name from their database unless I played along with his nonsense. When I pointed out that he was literally bullying me, I could almost hear the gears in his head grinding - he actually admitted it! I practically leapt at the chance, saying I'd be taking this up with the police and sharing the recording as evidence. At that point, the rude bloke hung up on me like I’d told him he was a Martian or something - how dare he! And to top it off, he claimed he had no clue where I was, thousands of miles away, yet somehow knew all about my life. Funny thing is, I never called him a terrorist; that was all his doing! What a character!

They keep ringing me asking me to answer some questions, sometimes even three times a day! I told them to take me off their list, but today the bloke said, “No, not until you answer the questions.” Honestly, I just wish they'd stop calling altogether.

I keep getting calls daily from someone with a strong foreign accent, using a very traditional English name. There’s always a load of noise in the background. They say they’re from "UK Research" or something like that. When I asked for their address and phone number, they just hung up as soon as I mentioned reporting them. They ring me about three or four times every day, but I don’t give out any details and always tell them I’m on the TPS and want to be taken off their list.

I'm registered with the TPS but this number kept ringing me today, 24/4/14. When I answered, they said they were from some UK Research trying to get me to join a survey. After I said no a few times, the person started shouting "Go to hell with your opinions, you scumbag!" I couldn’t help but laugh, and then the bloke just hung up on me! No clue who they are or what company they represent, but I’d definitely avoid them.

My husband got a call earlier from this number, and when he told the Indian guy Darren that he was a bit busy and couldn't chat, the bloke ended up saying "f*** off" a couple of times and kept dropping the "f*** you" several others. Proper rude!

That’s when he started shouting rude stuff and telling me to shove my finger somewhere. I calmly wished him well and said goodnight. These companies need to be regulated or something. It’s funny to me, but I can see how it would upset others a lot.

They kept insisting on a name that doesn’t live here, which was weird. When I asked how they got my number, they said it was from BT. Problem is, we’re not even with BT and have an unlisted number. So I’ve no idea where on earth they found it from.

For the past three days, I've had these people calling non-stop (19th Sept at 9:31 AM, 20th Sept at 2:23 PM, and 21st Sept at 9:17 AM). The caller speaks with a strong South Asian accent and talks about a survey, just like others have mentioned. They even use our last name and ask us to verify who we are. It's shocking, especially since we're on the TPS register, yet still get these annoying calls from what looks like a UK landline. Even if the scammers are overseas, surely someone in the UK had to lease or sell them this number - isn’t there a way to make those responsible face consequences?

There’s this caller with an Indian accent who keeps ringing despite my sister-in-law being on the TPS to block marketing and sales calls. She’s 76, so it’s pretty annoying and I can’t always be around to answer for her. When she did pick up and challenged the caller, he got all rude and said he wasn’t scared of her and promised to call back. I tried calling the number myself just to check and all I got was some weird fax or computer noise. It would be great if there was a way to actually track these calls back to whoever’s making them or at least find out what city they’re coming from.

I’m pregnant and these guys have been ringing early in the morning, which is really not what we need right now. My husband picked up the phone and they were asking for Mr... (my old surname). He told them no one by that name lives here and asked to be removed from their list. A few hours later they rang again, and my husband wasn't so polite this time. Then they called right back and started swearing at us! After that, they rang once more, and my husband answered by saying “hello sweetheart” and they just hung up. No calls since then, about 20 minutes ago, so maybe they didn’t like that! We are on the TPS register, but I don’t know what else can be done. We really need the phone line clear in case I go into labour!

This number and a few others keep ringing us, always looking for someone called Woods. We've owned this phone for more than two years now and every time we pick up, we tell them they've got the wrong person as no Woods lives here. The moment we say that, they just hang up without saying anything else. Then, a few hours later, they'll be calling back again. Our caller ID just shows 02076543210 as "out of area" which doesn't help much. Seriously, does anyone know how we can put an end to these persistent calls? It's driving me nuts!

After almost getting tricked by a supposed Microsoft Windows support call yesterday, I wasn’t in the mood for any nonsense, so I gave them a blunt “leave me alone” and ended the call. No sooner had I settled down, it rang again. When I picked up, I got called all sorts of names - idiot, pig, fool, a...hole, and a bunch of other rude stuff. I just chuckled and replied with what I really thought about them. Looks like these calls aren’t going away anytime soon!

This number rang me a couple of months back, but since I had caller ID I just ignored it. Then it went quiet for a good while. But as luck would have it, got another call from it this morning! Didn’t recognise the number so I answered, but after a pause I heard a woman speaking in a foreign language, so I hung up straightaway. Looks like they’re starting up again with their list. I usually never answer calls from international numbers, 0845s, or ones showing as withheld.

I always check my caller ID and usually ignore calls like that, but this time, they actually left a voicemail - just some really loud breathing.
