Got a call from this number and it was some automated message saying I had an arrest warrant for tax fraud and evasion, telling me to press 1 if I wanted details. I pressed 1 just to see what they’d say but I knew it was dodgy right from the start. They tried getting me to give my name, date of birth, and address. I laughed and said if there was a warrant, they’d already have that info, then they just cut me off.

This is now the second occasion I’ve received a call from a man with an Indian accent claiming there was an issue with my Sky router, saying it’d been hacked. The first time, I told him I didn’t buy it and asked to speak with his manager. Then, another man with the same accent came on and repeated the same story, but I said I’d just ring Sky directly to sort it out. Today, the call came again with the same rubbish story. I told him it was complete nonsense, and he got quite rude, swearing at me before hanging up.

This number kept ringing me about 6 or 7 times on my home phone today. When I finally picked up, the person claimed to be from Sky's tech support, so I just hung up straight away. Pretty clear scam, pretending to be local but really sounds like a call centre from abroad. I ignored most of the calls, but on the last one I answered and yelled as loud as possible into the phone. Felt good to do that, and hopefully gave whoever it was a right headache!

Got three calls from this number claiming to be from Sky’s tech support saying there were problems with our internet. The first call was from an Asian guy who kept saying “Madam” instead of using our actual name, which a real Sky rep would’ve done. Plus, they didn’t ask any security questions - huge red flag. They wanted to connect to one of our internet devices to “fix” the issue but I ended the call. They’re quite persistent and keep ringing back.

The first time I picked up cause the number looked like where I used to work with those 0207 637 #### digits. The call just cut off though. I’ve been ignoring it on the next few tries but maybe next time I’ll pick up and chat a bit about London since that’s where they say they’re calling from.

I'm absolutely fed up with these incessant calls! As someone with a disability, picking up the phone is often a struggle for me. Got a call from an Indian call centre claiming to be from Sky, saying there was an issue with my router. They told me to press Windows+R, then type cmd, and then run NETSTAT. I messaged my IT mate straight away and he reckoned it was a scam. So I told the caller I'm not typing NETSTAT on my PC. He said "Sky will cut you off, goodbye" and just hung up. Not exactly top-notch Sky customer service, hehe :D :D :D

SCAM alert. This is the 4th time they called me today. Said they were from Sky tech support but the line was awful. I said if they really worked there, they should know my name, but the bloke said he wasn’t from the accounts team so couldn’t tell me. I asked to speak to someone who could confirm or else they were a scam, then they just hung up on me.

Picked up straight away, could hear loads of noise like a call centre but no one said anything. I hung on for a bit, asked who they were and why they called, but no reply so I just ended the call. Don't know who it was or what they wanted, felt a bit dodgy.

There was a brief quiet before someone started talking. I could hear typical call centre chatter in the background. The connection was bad, then a woman with an Asian accent said she was calling from Sky. She didn’t ask for any security details or my account info, and I didn’t give her any either. She said there were major security problems with my router and wanted me to count the lights on it. I don’t even have a Sky account. I told her straight away I knew it was a scam, and she just hung up on me.

I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who somehow knew my name (though I never said if he had the right person). Said he was from Microsoft, but I told him straight away I reckoned it was a scam and he was after my cash. He got all angry, saying I was creating a big internet security problem. Got a call from an Indian lady named "Nicky" claiming to be from Sky's tech support. She called a couple of times. Once I Googled the number and realised its a scam, I picked up just to see what would happen. I asked straight if this was one of those dodgy scam calls, she denied it saying "no no". Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent who said his name was John and that he was from Sky’s tech support. The background noise was really loud. After reading other people’s experiences, I’m pretty sure it’s a scam, so I flagged it as risky.

I received a dodgy phone call purporting to be from Sky, instructing me to power on my computer due to an alleged issue with my internet connection. I informed the caller that I'm not a Sky subscriber and everything with my internet is perfectly alright. After that, I swiftly ended the call. Clearly, this was a scam attempt aimed at gaining unlawful access to people's devices.

Answered but no one spoke, so I'm clueless who was calling. Really tired of these silent calls with no one actually there.

This is the fifth time in a fortnight I’ve got a call from them. They keep saying they're from Sky but with different stories each time. One time, they tried selling me some broadband fix, and another time, they wanted me to log into my computer so they could “check” my router. I just told them there’s no problem with my router and they ended the call straight away. I reported it to actionfraud.police.uk only yesterday. I’m starting to get well fed up with it all now.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be with my internet company saying there was an issue. She asked me to get Team Viewer so she could log into my router and sort it out. I told her Sky don’t need to call and do stuff like that, it’s all done remotely. I called her out as a scammer, she tried to deny it, I didn’t hold back and just ended the call.

I received an incessant call yesterday from someone claiming to be from 'Microsoft', alleging that my computer was compromised. They provided a lengthy 'unique' alphanumeric code that I was meant to jot down and recite back to them. However, when I sought further details, this courteous gent with an Asian accent resorted to rather harsh accusations. After I hung up, the phone didn't stop ringing, with various numbers showing up on my caller ID. Strangely enough, when I tried to call back, the number was unavailable. Quite a suspicious affair, if you ask me!

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent saying he was from Sky, saying my router was under attack. He said I needed to “co-operate” for my own good. I told him that wasn’t exactly how a proper company talks to its clients, then asked how many people fell for this and if he could prove he was actually with Sky. After that, he just hung up on me.

Total scam, no doubt about it. When I called the guy out on it, he went all racist for some reason. He claimed there was something wrong with my computer and wanted me to give him access through Team Viewer. Honestly, if anyone rings you up from this number saying they’re from Microsoft but don’t know much about you (he only had my last name), just hang up and don’t engage. Definitely dodgy.
