Same here, got this 48 second voice thing, didn’t bother clicking the link or anything. It was from someone called Annie Barnes. Also got an email today from Tammy Lewis, pretty much the same stuff but sent from a different number, 030 9874 2251.

Got a voicemail on my iPad at 3.20 in the morning from someone called Lillian Evans, who I don’t know at all. I clicked to listen and it took me straight to my BT login page but didn’t let me go any further. So I just deleted it. Seems odd BT would be calling me that early, doesn’t it?

I got an email claiming I had a voicemail from Sandra Ramirez, but it seemed dodgy so I didn’t bother clicking the link. Just like others mentioned here, the message said the voicemail lasted 48 seconds. What gave it away for me was that the email tried to use my name, even though my email address doesn’t include it anywhere - definitely just some automated nonsense, not something a real person typed out.

Got a voicemail but didn’t bother playing it, figured it was one of those scams. Checked online and turns out, yep, I was right - definitely a scam.

Just like the others, mine came from a Patricia Moore - someone I don’t know at all! I guess there was a Patricia Moore I knew ages ago, but sadly she’s passed away. Unless this is some fancy new ghost texting, I’m pretty sure it’s yet another SCAM!

Got a voicemail from 02076364487, said it was 48 seconds long. Stupidly, I hit play and it was some Stephany Robinson asking about the wellbeing of someone I don’t recognise at all. Then it somehow tried to take me to my BT login page. I've told BT about it but not sure if they've managed to grab any of my info. Definitely seems dodgy to me. Deleted it straight away, reckon it’s a scam.

Reading through the comments here makes me relieved I never bothered opening the message from '[email protected]', some stranger to me. It came with a 48 second 'link' message, which I saw later was removed. Honestly, why can’t the so-called 'authorities' do something about this widespread nuisance? I’d say treat any message like that as hostile and potentially harmful.
