Today, I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent using this number, pretending to be from HMRC. He claimed I owed taxes and was at risk because of supposed unpaid tax bills, which is completely untrue. I’ve read about these kinds of scams where people impersonate HMRC officers to trick you, so I didn’t trust him at all. After the call, I contacted HMRC myself, and they confirmed it was a scam, so there's no issue on my end. Really glad I double-checked!
