Today, I received a really unsettling phone call from a bloke who sounded Indian, claiming he was from a British bank. I mean, I’m not against Indian people at all, but there’s loads of fake call centres run by some of them trying to scam folks. A major red flag is when the caller barely speaks English properly yet insists they’re from a bank or even HMRC.
