I got a recorded call saying it was HM Revenue & Customs, telling me I was linked to some tax fraud and that they were going to arrest me. They told me to press 1, so I followed their instruction. After that, they repeated they were from the tax department and asked for my name. I said I was calling from the Saffron Walden police station, and right as I started explaining more, the call just cut off!
