got a call from this guy Scott who was chatting about boiler insurance. he had my name and where i live which was weird cause we just moved into a new build. must’ve been the developer or the person who put the boiler in who shared my details. definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a ring from a woman with an Asian accent about boiler insurance. As soon as she mentioned the topic, I hit the 'block now' on my caller ID thing. Seems like one of those common scams to me.

Didn’t have a clue who was ringing so let it just go to voicemail. No message was left though. Decided to check the number out on this site and after seeing the reviews, I’ve blocked it now.

Had a call from a bloke called Scott, sounded Asian, trying to sell me ‘cheaper boiler cover’. Total scam, honestly. He couldn't tell me what I was actually paying or who my current provider was. I asked him if he didn’t know my rates, how could he promise cheaper cover? He just said something like the average was around £250 a year, but I told him mine’s way less than that. Then he just went ‘mmm mmm’ and hung up on me. Definitely dodgy, a proper scam.

Got another call from some bloke called ‘Kevin’ trying the old boiler scam on me again. I totally lost it and gave him a proper earful. These annoying calls come in about three or four times every week, always with people who sound Asian and there's loads of background noise too. So fed up with it now!
