This number has called me several times, but when I tried calling it back, they didn’t seem to know what I was talking about. I got a message saying the number is disconnected or out of service, so I’m pretty sure it’s a fake number scammers are using.

Never ring back these numbers, seriously. There's a trick where they make you return the call, but what you don’t know is they’ve got a premium rate line charging something like £100 a minute! If it really was important or legit, they’d just ring you back themselves.
