Economist Magazine. Sure, I did reply to their message, but man, they keep ringing me non stop for like 4 days straight. It’s getting pretty irritating. I’m thinking I’ll just block the number soon.

I got a call from The Economist mag after I asked for a free issue. They then offered me a deal for 12 issues at a quid each, which I accepted. Afterwards, they asked for my shipping info, card details, and email address.

I'm utterly baffled by this number. Every time I pick up, they cut the line without uttering a word. It’s been like clockwork over the past fortnight. Quite annoying, to be honest. 09/04/17

Got a call from Economist magazine - at first I was a bit suspicious but then they said they wanted to send me the free copy I’d signed up for. I also went for the student deal at £12, which comes with a free portable charger and another 12 issues for just a quid each. You can always cancel after or carry on with a slightly more expensive but still discounted price per mag. Plus, if you do cancel, you keep the charger. I’ll update later if it turns out to be a scam. They did ask for my bank details though.

I sent a text to get a free issue of The Economist, but I wasn’t expecting a phone call in reply - thought they’d just send the info by text. I didn’t pick up as I didn't want to engage on the phone. If you ring them back though, you can opt out of the list.
