They asked for my date of birth and National Insurance number, but I told them that’s private and I wouldn’t share it on a call. Afterwards, they said they'd send me an email. Sure enough, I got one, but it didn’t feel like it came from a real recruiter - just seemed like a sneaky way to fish for my info.

I have reason to believe this so-called recruitment agency might be operating under false pretenses. They asked me for a copy of my passport to confirm my address, claiming it’s a necessity according to UK Employment Law, before they even start looking for job opportunities. Seems rather dodgy to me!
