Just got a call from this so called tech support company, they said they could help with my computer but it’s all a load of rubbish. They couldn’t even tell me who provides my internet! I spent ages chatting with them, like 20 minutes, pretending to need help but they never proved they knew anything. All those positive reviews up there are total nonsense. A firm named Just Dial Tech rang me up claiming to be the people handling my computer’s software support. They got remote access and pointed out several services on my PC that had stopped, warning me it wasn’t secure. I double-checked with my internet provider and they confirmed it was indeed the support service I’m signed up for, as my insurance documents mention I’m supposed to get software support too. Got a call earlier today saying exactly the same thing. I went through all the comments but still decided to see what the call was really about. After checking, the lady was actually telling the truth - there was an issue with my computer. So I agreed to what she said. She fixed my computer and now it runs like brand new. Got a call from an Asian woman claiming there were multiple network connections to my PC at a certain time, maybe from neighbours. Happened to me as well - looks like a classic scam! A guy with an Asian accent claimed my email got hacked and that 10 devices had connected to my computer through it. I’m not great with tech stuff, so it really freaked me out. He gave me an 0800 number and told me they were based in West Drayton, using the email justdialtech[###]. When I looked online, I found warnings about an Indian company pretending to be Microsoft. Then I checked the number he called from and came across this website with lots of similar experiences. So glad these comment sections exist!!

Got a pretty annoying call from these guys today. Honestly, take some of the 'reviews' on this site with a bit of scepticism. There's one that says, 'I've been with Dial Tech for a year...' Yeah right! If that's true, why bother leaving a positive comment on Who Called Me? Surely you'd recognise the number! Then there's another one claiming, 'I'll be a Dial Tech customer for life...' Lifetime, really? Give me a break! If someone’s trying to fool a site like Who Called Me, they need to be a bit more clever than that.

Got a call from an Asian bloke saying 6 people were using my network. I asked him which company he worked for and for their address. He just made up some address, and the postcode didn’t even exist. When I pressed him to give me a proper address, he just hung up on me.

Just like others here, I got a call from someone saying they were from Dial Tech, telling me six gadgets were using my internet. They even mentioned my email which they said was how they found out. But when I told them I don’t even have an internet connection and wasn’t at a place with Wi-Fi that day, he didn’t seem bothered at all. Today I got a call from someone claiming there were six devices linked to my internet. I found it a bit suspicious since we just switched internet services yesterday. I told the caller I'd look into it before believing anything. He said he'd call again on Monday. Luckily, I stumbled upon this website which confirmed my suspicions that it's just a scam. Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent, sounded exactly like the stories others have posted here. He mentioned that six (always six, weirdly) devices were connected to my internet and said he could sort it out for me. I then asked him who my internet provider was, but he couldn’t say. Next, I requested the IP address of my computer, since he claimed to see it, but again, he had no answer. Honestly, don’t give these people any chance to get near your PC. Letting them connect remotely under the pretense of fixing things can cause serious harm. They might steal your identity or get hold of your bank and personal details. Stay safe and hang up on them!

Someone rang me claiming there were six new devices linked to my internet and tried to get me to let them take control of my computer. Odd thing is, they already had my x directory number and the alias I use - which only Norton should know since it’s just for managing my security plan with them. I’ve sent Norton a couple of emails asking how on earth they allowed this info to slip out, but no answer yet. Makes me wonder how many others who’ve had these scam calls also had their info stored by Norton.

The number 0207 523 0121 is from Uxbridge and it’s linked to a company called jusdialtech. I think it’s some sort of internet scam, even if they seem legit? Honestly, would you really trust your internet to a cold call from a company you’ve never heard of before? Got a call from these people a moment ago. A bloke with a foreign accent said the same stuff others mentioned here. He asked if I could get on my computer so he could tell me how many devices were linked to my internet. I questioned where he got my number from, and he claimed I gave my info to their company. I told him that can’t be right cause I’ve never even heard of them. He said he’d ring me again tomorrow when I’m home with my computer. Definitely a scam!

Had a couple of calls like this, but I only ever picked up the first one as I was busy and just happened to answer. The bloke said he was from the Windows technical team, not Microsoft directly. I replied like this. Think about it, how many Windows PCs are there worldwide? Would Microsoft actually have a team constantly monitoring every single problem? Nah, he’s got nothing to do with Microsoft and isn’t here to help me in any way. If I’ve got PC issues, I’ll sort it local or find a techie I trust online. I would’ve gone on but he hung up halfway through. Number’s blocked now.

Today, 14th September 2015, I got a call early this morning around 9am. The tale was exactly the same as others mentioned - apparently, 6 new devices had connected to my network at about 6.25pm the night before. The woman on the phone had an Asian accent and claimed she was with Microsoft support. She even knew my email address and called me on my mobile. She said she’d guide me through fixing the problem but needed to access my computer first. Thing is, I wasn’t near it at the time. When I asked for a contact number to ring her back after checking with my ISP, she suddenly ended the call. No damage done anyway.

This number just rang me up claiming that loads of strangers accessed my computer the previous night - the classic scam spiel. They tried to convince me to let them take control so they could steal all my data. I just said thanks and that I’d have my tech mate check it out. What's worrying is that some mates of mine said they've started receiving emails from my email account pushing some 'get rich quick' schemes. Totally a scam. She told me some nonsense about 6 computers being linked to my home Wi-Fi last night. I knew it was dodgy, so I played along and said yeah, that's right. Then she just hung up on me.

Got a call from an Asian bloke claiming six computers were “hooked up” to my network around 6:45pm yesterday, doing dodgy stuff like nicking bank info. When I asked if he was from my internet provider, he said he worked for some company acting on their behalf. Definitely sounds like a scam. He even mentioned my email, but got it wrong. Told him to email me the details, curious if he actually will. What a con artist!

Got a call from some Asian bloke earlier, saying six computers hooked up to my network yesterday or summat. I kept asking him all sorts of stuff but he just wanted me to type in commands on my PC, saying it’d get fixed today. After a while, I twigged it was a scam. Told him he was talking rubbish and told him to jog on before I hung up!

Hey, I got a call earlier today and decided to give the service a go. They ended up being really useful, way more than I expected. Honestly, I think they’re genuine because they fixed some problems that my local tech wanted to charge me loads for without even explaining properly. I’m pretty happy with how things turned out. A bloke rang me earlier, sounded like he was from India. He claimed there were seven computers linked to my internet yesterday and offered to help. Creepy thing was, he already had my email and phone number. I told him I’d get back to him later since I was busy. The number he called from was +2075230121. I ended up ringing my network provider to check and they told me it definitely wasn’t them, even though the guy insisted he worked for them. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

The person who called actually knew my husband's name and our number, which isnt listed anywhere, and we hardly ever get cold calls. When I told them he wasnt around, they said theyd call again, so now we’re bracing ourselves for another ring.

Got a call earlier from an Indian guy saying my computer had been hacked. He knew my full name and email, which was a bit creepy. He wanted me to switch on my PC but I wasn’t having it. Watch out for calls from 02075230121, don’t trust em and tell the police if you get anything similar!

Got a call on my phone from a woman with an Indian accent using this number. She claimed that my home PC was hacked by six different devices. She actually knew my name and asked if any of my neighbours might have access to my computer login details. I started asking her what she was on about, but before I could say more, the call just dropped suddenly!

Got a call like this today too, they actually knew my name and my private number which I never share with anyone or any stores! They said they were from the Network Protections Centre. I didn’t say anything to prove who I was, just told them to take my number off their system. They’ve been ringing me loads over the past few weeks with missed calls.

This number called me three times, saying my computer was compromised. The bloke on the other end had a strong Indian accent, and I barely caught what he was saying. He kept going on about like six different people hacking into my system or something. I just ended the call. Honestly, I'd tell anyone else to just hang up straight away too.

I went through a pretty similar situation where they claimed to be from the network security team. This round, it was a woman calling, said her name was Rose Thomas! She asked me to visit a site [#]justdialtech[###] and gave me a phone number 800 0662164 plus an ID tag MS400482 to prove she was legit.

This guy sounded Asian. I played along for a bit, then kept telling him he was a total scammer and that the phone was being watched by the fraud police. He claimed he was recording me. So I kept asking his name and he said, “James Bold” before hanging up on me. These scammers are the worst!

They ring me daily with some kind of windows scam. Best to just ignore or pick up and hang up quick. There should really be some law to stop these annoying calls.

Exactly like what others said here. Heard a foreign accent with loads of noise in the background. They’ve rung me many times but only answered once. I asked for their number so I could call back and check if it was legit. They tried to frighten me into paying and giving info. I told them I’d reported them to the proper fraud folks (which I actually did) and to stop bothering me. Really concerning how they got hold of my mobile and even knew my name and email.

Got loads of calls from this number, never managed to pick up. Tried calling back, but all I got was a really loud beep that just went on and on, then it ended with nada.

A person from a call centre claimed that 6 computers were using my internet and even mentioned my e-mail. I asked what the call was about but didn’t get a clear response so I ended the call. I reckon these fake calls will only get worse now with the Windows 10 launch as an excuse.
