Reports on phone number 02075108551
7 yearsI just had a rather alarming phone call from what claimed to be HMRC, advising me that there was a warrant for my arrest due to unpaid taxes. As a retiree, I'm relieved to say that I don't actually pay taxes, but I'm still mentally sharp! It baffles me why these sorts of phone numbers aren't swiftly shut down when they're reported. Caller ID showed: 02075108656.HMRCCaller7 yearsI recently received a rather alarming phone call from the number 02083077018, purporting to be from HMRC. The individual on the line accused me of being involved in tax fraud and evasion and claimed that, while I might not be entirely to blame, I now owe £3246. They insisted that if I settled this amount within a week, I could avoid facing imprisonment. As a school teacher, my taxes are deducted directly from my salary, so it dawned on me after about 35 minutes of sheer panic and confusion that I’d fallen prey to a scam. I would appreciate it greatly if you could trace this number and identify the organisation behind this deceitful call. - Caller: 02038077018HMRCCallerSubmit Your Own Report (020 7510 8551)
