i usually ignore calls like these cos 9 times outta 10 they turn out to be some kind of scam.

They rang me up claiming they could help me block nuisance calls. Said I’d get a letter in about 3 to 5 days. Then when I asked if it would cost me, they said it’d be £180 for life. I said, “Are you seriously going to charge me that?” and the person just said yes and hung up on me.

I got a call from some bloke offering to block all my robocalls and marketing numbers for £3 each month. I asked him why I’d have to pay for that, seemed a bit dodgy to me. It was on my landline.
