2 yearsI got a call from some robot sounding woman saying she was from the bank’s fraud team. She told me there were two suspicious transactions on my card - one for £300 to Amazon and another one, a big overseas transfer for £1,200. If I didn’t make those payments, I was meant to press 1. I didn’t trust it at all and hung up straight away because I figured pressing a button might cost a fortune. Then I rang my bank myself and they told me they never use automated calls like that.
