For over a week now I've been getting calls on this number multiple times daily. When I first picked up, I asked if there was any way to verify it was Talktalk ringing, but they just hung up on me! A few times, after a bit of silence, I got these automated messages saying goodbye. Once, I told them I thought it was a scam, and they cut the call right away. Feels like they're using some kind of mass dialling system.

The caller said they were with Talk Talk and told me someone was messing with my internet and using loads of my data. About half a year ago, I got a call pretty much like this one, and as soon as I told them that, they just ended the call straight away.

They claimed to be from TalkTalk and wanted to get into my laptop. I was feeling rough and just wanted to rest, so it was really frustrating. When I finally caught someone on the line, I gave them a proper earful - and then they just hung up. A lot of the time it's just some robotic voice saying goodbye before the call ends. I've already told TalkTalk about these annoying nuisance calls. This kind of thing isn't right, especially for people who are vulnerable. Make sure you report them!

Got loads of calls today from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk, my actual provider, saying there was an issue with my internet. I told them I’d check it out later and just hung up. Definitely felt like a scam to me. They kept saying “ma’am” all the time, super polite but very fake sounding, with heavy Indian accents. The bloke even said his name was Rodney Trotter or something, which just pissed me off. Wish I could label it as spam, unknown and harassment all at once because it was proper dodgy.

Heads up! This is a scam where they try to access your computer using TeamViewer or maybe the command prompt. Don’t let them in! Also, if someone from a service provider rings, always ask for ID. Legit internet, phone, or TV companies won’t ask for this stuff over the phone. Stay safe!

This number has been blowing up my phone for days now. I’ve flagged it a few times already. I’m on the TPS list, so it’s definitely dodgy. They pretend to be from Talk Talk and say someone’s messing with your internet. When I told them I was recording and on the TPS, they still called back... twice after that! My mum’s 70 and very unwell, and today she got called about 8 times by this number, but nobody ever answered when she picked up. I told the police, but there’s not a lot they can do here in India. It’s really annoying and worrying.

Yesterday morning, after quite a stretch without any calls, I got one where the bloke asked for me by name and said he was from Talk Talk. I quickly told him I knew it was dodgy and to never ring me again, then I hung up. A bit later, I had a call that was silent apart from some automated “thank you for calling” at the end. Then, two more calls came through from the same number, but totally silent. Today I’ve already had two silent calls too. Should I contact Talk Talk about this or the police? Anyone knows who’s best to talk to?

Over the span of just a few hours, this number rang me like 15 times. Definitely a scam. They claim to be from TalkTalk, but I'm not a TalkTalk customer. Though I reckon they might have pinched my details from TalkTalk since I nearly joined them once but bailed after hearing how rubbish their support is. Other times, the call went silent, and at other moments, they were trying to fiddle with my computer remotely. The moment I sarcastically said “Oh sure, let me grab my card” or asked for their own phone number, they just dropped the call. Watch out for these ones!!

Been getting calls from this number non stop today, six already and it’s only gone half one! Yesterday was even worse, rang me ten times. I’m waiting for an important call and don’t have time to deal with these annoying calls. Reported it to the fraud team now. If you’re with TalkTalk, they told me you can easily block calls by dialling 14258 then hitting # twice - worth doing if you keep getting hassled by this number.

Lately, I’ve been getting calls like five times a day from "TalkTalk" but with Indian accents. Started replying in this sketchy tone, like “oh, really? You are, huh?” and every single time they just hang up. It’s annoying but works to keep it quick. Heard if you let them get in, they can mess with your computer or worse. Proper pain!

I keep getting calls from some dodgy Indian call centre pretending to be TalkTalk. Since I work in IT and know a fair bit about cyber scams, I actually find it quite amusing to mess about with them on the phone. I like pushing their buttons till they get all flustered - it’s a laugh really. Trying to track the number shown is pointless because they can fake any number they like. Don’t get annoyed, just have a laugh with it!

Got a call earlier from someone saying they were from TalkTalk’s tech team. They told me someone was using my internet without my okay, which immediately sounded dodgy. They wanted me to switch on my computer. Since I’m with TalkTalk, I know they never call unless you’ve reported a problem - which I hadn’t done at all. This number keeps ringing me up, claiming to be from the TalkTalk tech team. When I told them I’m not a TalkTalk customer, they tried to get me to log into my PC.
