This number's rung me twice recently, both times went straight to my landline voicemail - the most recent was this morning, 4th Jan. No messages were left either time and I don't recognise the number at all. Seeing the reviews here, sounds like it could be scammers trying their luck.

I received a rather peculiar phone call from a woman with a European accent who claimed I had been sending multiple error notifications. She insisted she was calling from Windows support. When I probed her about the nature of these messages, her response was very vague, saying they were of a technical nature. I decided to terminate the conversation, as I had strong reservations about the authenticity of her claims.

I reckon it was a scam, so I just hung up straight away. But if it was one of those "your computer's got a virus" type calls, I probably would’ve played along a bit. I’ve done computer tech support for over 30 years, so could have had a laugh messing with whoever was on the other end.

I got one of those annoying calls where they say they’re from Microsoft and claim my computer has a virus. They wouldn’t take no for an answer and actually handed me over to some “supervisor” when I told them my PC was turned off. They were so eager to “fix” it that now they say they’ll ring me back in a couple of hours. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number on my home phone.

Like many before me have said (minus any racial stuff - does their accent really matter?), they say they're calling from Microsoft. Best thing to do is just tell them to buzz off, end the call, and block the number.
