the call was recorded automatically and it only kicked in halfway through their talk. Tried ringing back but they said my NI number was risky or something so I just ended the call.

Received a call from this number, and it turned out to be a recorded message. It began mid-sentence, ominously warning me that I might be in danger of losing my National Insurance number. Quite unnerving, really! I decided to end the call. When I tried calling back, the line just cut off. Strange behaviour!
