Today, I had a close brush with a potential scammer who rang me up pretending to be from Amazon, inquiring about my Prime subscription. I unwittingly started to engage with him, divulging all manner of details! I can’t believe how naïve I was! Thankfully, the chap became a bit too assertive and began probing with questions that I knew Amazon wouldn’t typically ask. That’s when it hit me-I was handing personal information over to a total stranger just because he claimed to be associated with Amazon! I genuinely hope no one else falls victim like I did, which is the reason I'm sharing this experience.
