7 yearsI got a call claiming to be from BT about my internet, using a recorded message saying press 1 to speak to a tech or press 2 to disconnect. I pressed 1 and some guy with an Indian accent came on, but when I questioned him he just started cursing and threatening me. Definitely not BT at all. Blocking these numbers is pointless since they’re fakes and just spoof the caller ID. They’ll just ring again later with a different fake number, maybe later today or sometime next week.
