We've been hit with these charges for the past few months without even realising it until we took a closer look at our bill. It's been around £1.50 to £2.50 each month. Thankfully, after we sent the text to quit to 82070, it seems to have done the trick so far. Just a bit of a shock to find out!

Our daughter’s been getting a couple of texts every Friday evening around 6 o’clock from these fellows. I’ve taken the information provided and sent a “stop” message to the number listed. I’ll share more details after this coming Friday.

Received a message urging us to text 'yes' to this number. We've never given permission for these folks to debit any funds from us, and there’s absolutely no clarity on what this is about. It appears to be a scam; you glance at the landline number and voila, you find yourself billed at £1.50 a minute! Beware, folks - better to steer clear of anything associated with these dodgy characters!

Hello there! Just wanted to share a quick update. Last month, I managed to bin one of the numbers, and today I've ditched another! One of them was all about sending a text to supposedly win a set of Marshall headphones. I texted 'quit' to 65405, and lo and behold, I received a message back confirming I’ve unsubscribed. Fingers crossed that’s the last I hear of this nonsense. I’ll pop in again next Friday with further news. Cheers!

I recently received a text message that read something like, "Free Msg: This is a reminder about your membership with Notion Comp Alerts. For further details, visit planetnotion.com or call our helpline at 02074269857. It’s £1.50 per month unless you send 'quit' to 87070." Seems rather dodgy to me-does anyone have any advice on this?

Hi there! We've found ourselves in quite a similar situation. We're going to brush this off, seeing as there's no way these folks can withdraw any cash from us since we haven't granted them permission at all. There's absolutely no chance we're engaging with that 87070 number, as we're not about to hand over the reins and let them start charging us. Fingers crossed they take the hint and clear off, those pests!

Greetings! Just thought I'd provide a quick update. Last month, I managed to unsubscribe from one pesky number, and today I did the same with another! One of them was all about a chance to text to nab some Marshall headphones. I sent a message saying 'quit' to 65405 and promptly received a reply confirming my unsubscription. Hoping that's the last I hear from them! I’ll drop another update next Friday. Cheers!

Greetings! We are known as Safi. We've been sharing our experience regarding an online iPhone win numbered 87243. Upon receiving a text message on our mobile, it provided details and asked for our colour preference for the phone we supposedly won. My apologies from Safi. Many thanks!

I keep getting strange texts from this number, and I'm absolutely certain I haven’t signed up for anything like this - nor any other service for that matter! The last message I received mentioned something about unsubscribing by texting ‘stopClub’ - but it’s likely a scam, considering it supposedly costs £1.50 a month. It seems they’ll charge you as soon as you reply with that ‘stop’ message! The texts are coming from 82070, and it all feels rather dodgy, to say the least.

My elderly mother, who's in her seventies, just received a text from planetnotion.com linked to this number. It mentioned that to cancel a weekly subscription of £1.50-one she most definitely did not sign up for-she needed to text 'quit' to that same number. I'm left wondering if this is a major scam designed to rack up costs the moment she tries to opt-out. What’s the deal with these types of messages?

My mum received a text from planetnotion.com regarding this number, indicating that he should text “quit” to cancel a weekly subscription fee of £1.50, which he definitely never signed up for! Is this some sort of elaborate scam that could end up costing more if he tries to opt-out?

Received a text asking me to confirm my entry by sending a message to some place called Notion. The number attached to it was 87248, but I’m a bit suspicious since it all seems quite dodgy. Anyone else had a similar experience?

I've been receiving constant messages from folks inquiring why we haven't responded to their texts. It's made us quite anxious, as we fear these individuals might just proceed regardless and start charging us £1.50 per minute without our consent. We really don't want this to happen. Can anyone advise on how we can put a stop to this?

I keep getting messages from these people asking why I haven't responded to their texts. It's making me quite anxious that they might just charge me £1.50 a minute regardless. I definitely don’t want to end up in a situation like that! Is there any way to opt-out or cancel this whole ordeal?

I recently received a text from a company called Notion, asking me to confirm my phone number. Naturally, I chose not to respond. Now I'm rather anxious that I might end up with an unexpected bill from them. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated on what happens next.

I keep getting random texts from this number, which is quite baffling as I've never signed up for anything like this or any other number. As I gathered from earlier discussions, you can opt out by sending a text saying 'stop' to stopClub at a cost of £1.50 a month. It seems like a bit of a con, as these folks are probably pocketing that amount when you try to unsubscribe. The number they use to send the messages is 82070.
