Someone called asking for my husband using his full name. When I told them he wasn’t home, they said they'd ring back later.

Got a call where the bloke wanted to speak to my husband by name. When I asked who it was, he claimed to be from the Ministry of Justice. I told him my partner wasn’t around, and he said he’d ring back later. Can’t believe anyone actually buys into that stuff?

So I got a call from this bloke named Andrew Green, number 02074154872, claiming he was from the FCA and trying to tell me I was owed about £3000. He asked for my date of birth and mobile number, but I didn’t give it to him. He was really pushing to keep me on the phone longer, which made me think I might get charged some crazy phone bill fees. It wasn’t until I dialled 147 that I found out the call was from London. He sounded like he had an Indian accent or something. I just told him to send any info by post since he already had my address, then I hung up straight away.

I was sure I’d shaken off these jokers a couple months back, but guess what? They’re back at it, annoying me again. They’ve rang me three times just today, but luckily my t#### call blocker keeps them from actually reaching me.

Seems the Ministry of Justice decided to give me a ring! I promptly ended the conversation.

Some bloke called Benjamin Green from the Ministry of Justice rang asking for my hubby. I told him “Ministry of Justice, my arse!” and just ended the call.

Got a call from some bloke called Harry Shaw claiming he’s from the Ministry of Justice. He said I need to pop down to Tesco or maybe Sainsbury’s - although he did say other supermarkets could work - and grab a Google Play card for £150. Then there’s this Mrs Kelly Green, also with the Ministry of Justice, who’s supposedly going to refund me £3000 because the banks have been overcharging me for years. Honestly, I could’ve told him it’s way more than that! Just sitting here, waiting to see what happens next...

You should really think about reporting it to Action Fraud, here’s the link I used: https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-phishing. It might help stop it getting any worse.

Got an automated call saying my internet would be cut off soon, and to press 1 to keep it going or 2 to disconnect. Pretty sure it’s just one of those annoying scam calls.

Some bloke rang saying he was with the ministry of justice, asked to talk to me but I told him I wasn’t here. Then I asked why the ministry would want to chat with my sister? He just said they’d ring again later.

I got a call looking for my husband but he wasn’t about at the time. When I asked who it was, a bloke with a really thick accent said his name was Benjamin and he was from the ministry of justice or something like that. He wouldn’t really say much else and said he’d ring back later. I’m not falling for it tho, feels like a dodgy scam so I’m just ignoring it.

I got a call from Andrew Green on 02074154872, he said I could get some bank fees back. He asked me to buy an Amazon card and then give him the details so he could sort out a cheque refund. Sounded dodgy to me, definitely felt like a scam. The number he wanted me to call back was 01143605879. Don't fall for it!

Some bloke called himself Benjamin Green and claimed to be ringing from the Ministry of Justice about claims and regulations. He was telling me I qualified for a refund on bank fees and said I'd get a cheque for £3000 from a solicitor named Nigel Cole. He even gave me some reference number, BG0142. When he asked me to verify my address and postcode, I just ended the call. After that, he called back immediately but I didn’t pick up the second time.
