I informed the bloke that we had stopped using TalkTalk. He claimed he was aware but insisted they are the main internet provider managing every IP address globally. I then went back to the bath and left him waiting for about 15 minutes, saying my PC wouldn’t boot up. Honestly, he was pretty rude from the start, saying “Oh dear madam, I’ll explain this once more.” In the end, he gave up and handed me a number to ring back once my PC was sorted so they could sort the problem.
