I think it’s alright, probably not spam or anything. When I tried ringing, it just didn’t connect and told me the number wasn’t recognised. Seems like the call just didn’t get through.

Apparently, for the movie “Carrie,” they promoted it with this phone number in a teaser that finished with “call Carrie” alongside the number itself. If you ring up that number three times consecutively, you'll receive calls back with some really eerie stuff. The first call freaks you out straight away with some terrifying sobbing once you answer. Then, the second call comes through with a creepy tune, like a haunted melody. By the third time, you get whispered messages that send shivers down your spine, reminding you of certain chilling bits. It’s a pretty unsettling promo gimmick!

I got a call from +1 207 404 2604 which apparently was advertising the horror flick Carrie from 2013. They showed this number at the end of the trailer with a prompt to ring it. When I dialled, the call dropped right away, but then I got called back three times by a different number. Each time, the voicemail was eerie as hell: first there was terrifying screaming, then some weird singing like wind blowing through hair, and lastly, this creepy whispering that gave me chills. Quite unsettling overall.
