6 yearsHad a call this morning from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from the “Networking team at Openreach.” It smelt like a scam right away, especially since I’m in Hull and we’re with KCOM, which has nothing to do with Openreach. So I just ended the call. These scam calls are getting ridiculous lately; they all tend to follow the same script - often an Asian accent, pretending to be from some large company you might know, then either asking you to press a number or warning you about an issue with your service or gear. Best thing is just to hang up and never press any buttons.
