Utterly infuriating! These con artists really get under my skin! An absolute muppet from India rang my wife and totally frightened her. She dashed to me, all teary-eyed, claiming that HMRC was hunting us down for tax evasion! I had to calm her fears and explain that the cretin on the phone was in no way connected to HMRC! Thank goodness she had the sense not to share any personal details with him.
