I got a call from 0207 360 3236 saying it was HMRC threatening legal action unless I paid up straight away. They wanted me to press one to chat to someone about a “case” but it felt dodgy, so I ended the call quick. They even said I’d get arrested if I didn’t pay, but their English was pretty poor. When I tried to ask them stuff about HMRC or my details, they couldn’t answer and just hung up. Just so you know, HMRC won’t ring you up asking for payment like that - so don’t fall for it!
