This person called me using what sounded like a recorded office background, and had a foreign accent. They asked if my BT broadband was working okay, which seemed dodgy as I don’t even have BT broadband! They went on about ‘our records show’ and so on, but when I asked them to tell me the name they had listed for me, they couldn’t. I told them off quite harshly and hung up. I’m signed up to the TPS (Telephone Preference Service), so if they keep pestering me, they could be in serious trouble soon enough.

They kept ringing me nonstop. I picked up only once and heard a woman with an Indian accent, and there was that typical call centre buzz in the background. She claimed to be from TalkTalk and wanted to check my router speed, asking about the number of lights on it and stuff. I told her straight up that I didn't trust she was actually from TalkTalk and said I wasn’t interested in continuing the chat. But even after that, they just would not stop calling! I ignore them now. BEWARE!!!

This morning at about 8.45, I got a call from a woman who spoke with a Caribbean accent. She said she was calling from B.T., but I told her that B.T. wouldn’t ring me out of the blue like that. This has happened a few times now, maybe the fourth or fifth, and the numbers keep changing (once I even found one coming from Germany). After that, I just ended the call. Proper annoyance, honestly.

Got a call from this number at about 2:29 pm on Wednesday, 3rd October. The screen showed it as an international call. The person said they were from BT claiming they needed to fix my slow internet. I played along and started up my computer as instructed. They asked me to hit the control key, but I just stayed quiet. Then they started going off at me, saying they knew I was there and that the call was costing me money. Eventually, they told me I'd been charged £5 for the call and hung up. A minute later, they called back and I changed how I sounded. They kept going on and got even more annoyed, and I could hear loads of people chatting in the background like a call centre. So, I got a call from an elderly Indian woman, but I heard some foreign chatter in the background like from a call centre. This morning at 11:19, my phone rang from this number, but since it showed up as an international caller and I didn’t know it, I didn’t pick up. I’m baffled why this number hasn’t been blocked yet though, especially considering it’s been reported countless times on loads of sites! Apparently, it was once linked to things like Alexander McQueen shoes and The Berkeley Executive Centre. Seriously, isn’t there anyone who checks who’s using these numbers and can just shut them off if they’re causing so many problems?

So this morning at about 11:19am, I got a call from this number but it showed up as ‘international’ and since it looked suspicious, I just ignored it. Honestly, how come this number is still active when it's been flagged loads of times on different sites? From what I found, it was once linked to stuff like the Evening Standard, ES Mag Fashion & Feature back on 26th November 2008, and even said to be associated with Alexander Shoes and the Berkley Centre at 11 Berkeley, 4j 8bu. Seems dodgy to me that it’s not blocked yet.
