I received a call from someone with a non-English accent claiming to be from BT Internet. Strangely, they sent a phoney office tape along with the call. Suspicion arose immediately as I do not have BT internet service. The caller persisted, referring to their supposed records, but when challenged to provide my name from those records, they couldn't. This confirmed my suspicions and I responded with a angry outburst before ending the call. It's worth noting that I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), and repeated harassment from these fraudulent callers may lead them into serious legal trouble in the near future.

This morning at about 8.45, I got a call from a woman who spoke with a Caribbean accent. She said she was calling from B.T., but I told her that B.T. wouldn’t ring me out of the blue like that. Honestly, how come this number is still active when it's been flagged loads of times on different sites?
