I don’t pick up these calls, usually just hangs up as soon as it goes to voicemail. How come they’re still allowed to keep doing this? Seems like no one’s really doing anything to stop them.

As soon as she said it was about bank fraud, I got suspicious, especially since she didn’t say the name of the bank. It was a woman’s voice, which made it sound even more dodgy, so I just blocked the number straight away. Actually, it’s quite ironic because I’d just seen a BBC show this morning all about these kinds of scam calls.

I recently received a rather peculiar call from this number. An automated voice informed me that there were two transactions processed on my debit card earlier today-one for £120, which I can’t quite recall who it was with, and another for a staggering £1450 linked to bitcoin. The recording prompted me to press option 2 if I needed assistance from a banking representative. When I finally got through, I spoke to an Asian gentleman whose accent made it difficult to understand him. He asked which debit card was involved, and his responses were quite erratic, insisting it was related to my bank account. When I sought clarification by pressing him on which card it was, he abruptly hung up on me. Quite the experience, to say the least!
