In response to ttkknn, it appears that a lot of these dodgy firms somehow acquire my personal details through stockbrokers and financial advisers. It's rather alarming how these individuals seem to share my information freely, much like an indiscreet affair. This could very well explain why Watson referenced the FSA. Also, a bit of advice - it might be beneficial for you to brush up on your spelling skills!

I’m scratching my head here trying to understand why these folks would fall under the FSA's oversight when, in reality, the FSA doesn’t govern that sort of enterprise. Just out of curiosity, how old are you? And do you actually know what industries the FSA does or doesn’t oversee? I’ve just received a call from 02073309311 claiming to be from Century Land Group. Naturally, I hit up a search engine immediately, and it screamed ‘scam’ to me. The caller mentioned he had spoken with us the previous month, but when I inquired about how he acquired our number, he was utterly clueless. It’s worth noting that they don’t seem to be registered with the Financial Services Authority either. I’m definitely going to keep my wits about me the next time they decide to ring! 😉
