I attempted to log in to my O2 account when I received a call from someone who claimed to be with O2. They asked me to provide an activation code, saying it was necessary for them to assist me. It definitely raised a few red flags!

Just had a call from someone saying they were from Virgin/O2, saying they're combining your O2 and Virgin accounts. They asked me to reset my O2 password and then pass the phone to someone else who wanted the SMS code for security. Obviously, this was a scam. Don’t share any details with them and report it straight to O2!
