Just received a call from this number, claiming to be from Aviva, stating they were switching up their payment system with a supplier and required a contact's name and email from my company. They rang last week as well, asking for the same details. Given that we do work with Aviva, I ended up providing a name and an email address - both of which anyone could easily find on our website. Thankfully, I'm the sole user of that email, so I can monitor it for any suspicious activity. It’s rather frustrating to realise I’ve been caught out like this, but on the bright side, they didn’t manage to access any sensitive information. I've now blocked the number on my phone.

When I declined to share my address, the caller’s tone shifted dramatically to one of aggression. I requested her telephone number, expressing my intention to return the call, but she was unable to provide it. Upon ringing the number back, a recorded message informed me that someone from Aviva had attempted to get in touch with me, which raised further alarm bells. Consequently, I contacted Aviva directly, only to find out that no one from their office had made any effort to reach me. It seems like a classic case of ambulance chasers trying to fish for personal information!

I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, yet a young lady with a foreign accent rang us shortly after we stepped outside. She didn't bother to name us directly and left a message asking us to return her call at what she described as a "freephone number," which of course is anything but. While she did mention the name of her company, her thick accent made it nearly impossible to understand her clearly. It’s quite evident that these folks are just up to no good-probably just another bunch of scam artists!

I've received a call regarding a claim from a company named Aviva. It feels a bit like a nuisance call to be honest.

I received a call from someone claiming to be associated with the legal department of P&G, but it quickly became evident they were attempting to extract sensitive information from an insurance database. Their aim seemed to be to gather details about third parties and claims for the purpose of initiating dubious cold calls regarding fabricated injury claims. When I probed a bit further, it was clear he had no clue which insurance company he was referencing after rummaging through the MID database. It was blatantly obvious he was just trying his luck. He had a strong Scouse accent and was quite insistent, bordering on aggressive in his approach.
