Fisher is a legit investment firm aimed at folks with quite a bit of money, looking for at least £500K to put in. The only downside is they use an automated system to call people back. If you ring them again, they actually stop ringing you after that.

They phoned me twice over the past few days. When I picked up, it was some automated message in Chinese, so had no clue what it was for. I've blocked the number now. Then just this morning, they called again but from 07540240908, so blocked that as well. Proper annoying.

This number rang me up today. I’m on the do-not-call list, so I just ignore calls from numbers I don’t know, ones that show up as private, or any marked as ‘International’. I don’t want to bother with them. If it’s important, people can leave a voicemail - though annoyingly, these spam callers never actually do. Trying to report such calls feels pointless; I’ve only once heard back that anything was done after reporting, even though I’ve given lots of details before.

You’ll get constant calls pushing you to set up a meeting with a sales rep who’ll then push hard to get Fisher’s firm to handle your investments. It’s really tough to say no without seeming rude because they don’t stop ringing. If you agree to the meeting, be prepared to spend over an hour on the call, and even after that, they’ll keep contacting you for years trying to secure your money. (At least they must think you’ve got over £250k to invest!)
