Then it tries to get you to press 1 for more details. Seriously, don’t press 1, don’t trust these calls, just block them straight away. Just a heads up, HMRC never rings you up. They always send letters in a brown envelope if they need to get in touch. If you get a call claiming to be them, it’s most likely a scam.
