I just got a call from 0207 285 4157. I picked up, but then this automated voice started saying something about me having a ‘criminal record for unpaid taxes’, which sounded really dodgy. I ended the call straight away. If that number rings you, best to ignore it and block it quick.

Got a call from this number on my phone just now. It’s not the first time I’ve come across this kind of scam. Previously, I got a similar call on my house phone. The lady’s voice sounded really official and serious, but honestly, if there was an actual warrant out for me, there’s no way they’d be ringing me to give me a heads-up.

Got a recorded call saying there’s a warrant out for me over some tax fraud thing. Thinking if I could take legal action for defamation or slander to put a stop to this nonsense. Would be great to have their real contact details to give them a piece of my mind. Absolute con artists.
