For the last month, I've been getting the same call almost every week; some bloke saying I've got a criminal case for fraud and tax evasion. It's clearly a scam but they keep ringing anyway.

This number called me and left a message that sounded pretty scary. They warned about legal trouble if I didn’t get back to them, which honestly freaked me out a bit.

I got a call from someone I didn’t know who said I was about to face criminal charges and that they were putting a warrant out for my arrest. They also told me all my money would be frozen and made me press some buttons on the phone. I just ended the call straight away. I’m a 67-year-old lady living by myself and I’ve never been in trouble with the law. It scared me badly, still feeling a bit shaken now. This has to be a nasty scam. Watch out!
