It appears I’ve stumbled upon a classic boiler room con. Currently, they’re operating under the guise of A1 Alternative Investments. Interestingly, they’ve previously claimed ties to a now-defunct outfit known as Green Planet Investments, which was recently put to rest due to its dubious practices. They seem to have a penchant for abruptly ending the call once they sense any doubt on your part regarding their legitimacy.
