I’m in southeast Lincolnshire and got a call from someone with a strong eastern accent claiming to be about our boiler cover from a few years back. He reckoned he could offer a better deal. I asked him what boiler insurance was, as we don’t actually have a boiler anymore. He said it’s for heating your hot water. I explained we use a ground source heat pump now. Then he just hung up. My wife reckoned I must have copied his accent by the time I’d finished chatting to him!
