I had an interesting phone call earlier. The chap on the line claimed to be representing TalkTalk, insisting that my router wasn’t playing nicely with my computer. I quickly realised it was a con and cut the call short. Just thought I’d share this bit of info in case it proves useful to anyone else!

Received a call from the number 0905 31/5 earlier. I picked up, but there was that typical lag along with some muffled sounds in the background, which instantly set off my alarm bells. The chap claimed to be from Talk Talk and mentioned something about an issue with my computer. Clearly, a dodgy ploy to gain access, if you ask me. I hung up abruptly.

I recently posted about a call from a 0905 number. Well, my wife just received a call at precisely 11:11 from that same number, and this time the chap claimed to be representing BT! Quite the coincidence, isn't it?

Some bloke called Dan claiming he was from IT support. I dunno who he was and he just rang up to say have a nice day or something. Didn't want to say where he was ringing from either, bit strange if you ask me.
